OpenRefine & Tableau 

Research without data would be like apple pie with no apples.  This workshop will look at scrubbing data (as you might scrub your apples before cooking) using OpenRefine, then we'll turn our attention to visualizing the cleaned data in interactive pie charts and much, much more with the leading Business Intelligence tool, Tableau.  Participants are encouraged to bring a java-enabled laptop to follow along.
