Campus Community,

October is a very busy month for our campus volunteers and the Office of Civic Engagement wants to make sure you are submitting and getting credit for your volunteer hours and/or philanthropy dollars raised. Did you know you can do it two different ways?

1. Logging them yourself by visiting the Civic Engagement Tracking System.
2. Send an email with your volunteer work with a certified Campus Partner including the name, number or email of the person who can verify your work to civic@fit.edu and our office will upload the information for you.
   • Is your organization interested in starting a service portal so your organization is also getting credit for the volunteer work your members do? We can do that too! Email civic@fit.edu to get started. 

Since it is such a big month for volunteering, the Office of Civic Engagement will be hosting a raffle for 2 students to win a PS4, XBox1, Nintendo Switch or a TV (students choice). All you have to do is submit your hours or philanthropy dollars raised and you are entered into the raffle. For EACH submission you are entered into the raffle!

• The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation is still looking for volunteers to serve as Astronaut handlers for their event on November 4.
